All I have to say is, take a look at the December NPD sales Nintendo had.

• Wii — 3,810,000
• Nintendo DS — 3,310,000

• Xbox 360 — 1,310,000
• PlayStation Portable — 654,700

  1. I’m especially happy for Mario & Luigi’s numbers. Glad that it’s getting more attention than the previous entries.

I am disappointed that Zelda: Spirit Tracks did not top the charts this month. Makes me wonder how many copies the game sold.

Man…Wii Play just doesn’t know when to quit. The best selling game of all time has another million to add to its plate. I’m surprised that Nintendo has not announced a sequel as of yet…considering that there is a lot to fix up about the original.

  2. Woow, amazing, the 3 top are nintendo games but how about Mario kart wii a 2008 game being number 7 year, amazing.

Another thing that amazes me the most is the fact that the wii outsould the competition, combine…, and that the 360 is only 50.000 units behind sony, keeping in mind that sony came up quite strong in this years lastly months with the price cut new model and a great list of games mostly exclusives, but we have to admire that they sold almost twice the units comparing to last year same period.
