5 thoughts on “Weekly PSN Update”

  1. Mega Man 10 got a simultaneous release on the UK PlayStation Store as well, which is quite the surprise. I’m going to download that as soon as I get my credit card active. Recently got into MM9 again as the hype for the sequel built up and really enjoyed my time with it. I don’t think I will be able to finish it given the difficulty and succession of Wily’s levels. Still, I had a good time.

  2. I can’t purchase MM. I’ve lost my old-school talents. To say 9 kicked my ass would be an understatement. I got destroyed by that game. As much as I love what Capcom is doing with the series, I believe my talents are no longer adequate for this series lol.

    1. Come on, man…aren’t you forgetting about the newly-implemented easy mode? That will surely make 10 a blast to play for people who don’t want any frustrations attached. As for me, I’m confident enough to try out the game’s normal mode before switching to easy. I was kind of surprised with myself last week when I got back to the game, beat all the bosses, and got to Wily Stage 3.

Curious though…where did you get to in Mega Man 9 and give up? How many bosses have you defeated?

      1. Truth be told Ahmed, I didn’t get anywhere. I’m always so busy with disc-based games that I barely have any time to play download titles. So I really didn’t get anywhere. I just tried a few levels, got my ass handed to me and literally moved on to the game I was playing at the time, whatever that may have been. I will likely give this one a try if there’s a n00b mode in there for me lol. I just need to put a little effort into it, because I played the original Castlevania the other day and almost completed the whole game. That game was far from a push-over.

        1. Yeah, man. I get you. It’s always nice to get a game that tests your reflexes in this day and age. Hard to imagine that I would get my ass handed to me if I ever met my 7-year-old self. I mean…I was able to beat Mega Man 2 and 4 for crying out loud.

Regarding MM10’s “noob mode”, people say that it’s perhaps too easy. Not sure if it’s true…but from what I hear you constantly get E-tanks and W-tanks so the fun of the challenge is sucked away from the game. MM10 is not a game that one should rush through like 3D action games nowadays.
