Apple Sends Invites Out For iPhone OS 4.0 Event

Lately we’ve been covering a heck of a lot of Apple news, but that’s only fitting considering how they’re slowly but surely moving into the gaming business.  Alright, that’s a lie, they’re moving full speed ahead.  Apple just sent out invites to a special iPhone OS 4.0 event where the company will reveal everything about the future of the operating system.  Keep in mind the iPhone OS is used in not only the iPhone, but also the iPod Touch and the just released iPad.  It’s kind of bizarre for Apple to make a move like this given the iPad was only released two days ago, but hey, we’re not going to complain.  Given all the features people have been asking for with the new OS, such as multi-tasking, this event should prove to be quite interesting.  We’ll post all the relevant news, especially if they announce anymore gaming-related offerings.

The event will take place on Apple’s campus on April 8th at 10:00AM PST.
