I’ve got to ask, what do you guys think of this?  We knew about this game for some time now, but how exactly do you feel about the announcement?  What with everything going on between Activision and Infinity Ward, how do you feel about buying a new Call of Duty made by Treyarch, knowing full well that Infinity Ward will likely never make another one again.

  1. I honestly don’t feel excited about this franchise anymore. I got burned out on MW2, as I haven’t played it in about three months, and don’t feel the least bit compelled to return. I also wasn’t big on World at War because of the ancient weaponry, and I doubt that this won’t just be another cookie-cutter engine copy and paste. I’ll give it a chance, but nothing more.

    1. Modern Warfare 2 was the first Call of Duty game I’ve played so I’m not as burned out as you, Justin. I’ll give this a chance once I know more. But to be honest, if all of it takes place in yet another WWII era I’ll most probably skip it. I’ve had my fair share of WWII FPSes.

      One thing Treyarch really screwed up with World at War is the splitscreen. It’s honestly the worst aspect I’ve ever played.
