Modern Warfare 2: Stimulus Package Now Available

Activision wanted to make sure we posted this information, likely because we’ve posted a lot of news about Infinity Ward members leaving Activision for greener pastures.  Anyways, if you happen to own a Windows PC or a PlayStation 3 and are in North America, you can now download the Stimulus Package.  There’s not much else to say about this except, enjoy.

Call of Duty(R): Modern Warfare(R) 2 Stimulus Package for PlayStation(R)3 System and Windows(R) PC Now Available

SANTA MONICA, Calif., May 4, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX News Network/ — The blockbuster Call of Duty(R): Modern Warfare(R) 2 Stimulus Package is now available worldwide for Windows(R) PC and in North America for the PlayStation(R)3 computer entertainment system. It will be available for download in Europe and Australia tomorrow, May 5. The five map Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package features a variety of adrenaline-pumping multiplayer venues, including three new locations “Bailout,” “Storm,” and “Salvage” along with two fan favorites from Call of Duty(R) 4: Modern Warfare(R), “Crash” and “Overgrown.”

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package can be downloaded for $14.99 from the PlayStation(R)Store for PlayStation 3 system and from Steam for the PC. In celebration of the release, Infinity Ward will host nearly a week of Double XP for PlayStation(R)Network and PC gamers May 4 – 9.

  1. Just downloaded it and gave it a spin. Nice maps, but it all feels so…meh. Going to write a short review as soon as I have the time, but there’s definitely a fundamental flaw with the way the modes are set up and how these maps are integrated.
