If you haven’t had the chance to read through my history lesson on Duke Nukem Forever, please do so right now as that was an insane amount of work I did for all you folks. Ok, now that you didn’t listen to me, I suppose I’ll fill you in on what’s going on. Duke Nukem was recently bought by Gearbox. After 13 years in development, the vaporware project known as Duke Nukem Forever is getting released next year for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. It was all revealed during PAX late last week. If that wasn’t enough, the game was actually playable…to the public, at said event. All that’s left now is to get the demo into the hands of millions of gamers all over the world. Sounds about right, no? Well according to Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford, that’s exactly what Gearbox plans to do in the coming months. Sound good to all of you?
