This is the best news to come out of TGS thus far. It was just announced at Microsoft’s press conference that Treasure’s classic Radiant Silvergun will be hitting the Xbox Live Arcade next Spring. You can’t even begin to imagine how big of a fan of this game I was back in the day. If you only know Treasure from Ikaruga, well that should be enough to convince you this is an instant day one purchase.
The HD redux will include greatly improved graphics, and an online co-op mode. Again, you can’t imagine how incredibly excited I am by this news.
To give you a little backstory to Radiant Silvergun, it was made back in ’98 for Japanese arcades. Treasure was a really big arcade and shooter creator back in the day. Gunstar Heroes anyone? How about Contra III. Yes, I rest my case. Anyways, Radiant Silvergun was so highly innovative and gorgeous that it became one of the rarest games ever released for the Japanese Sega Saturn. Obviously it was never released outside of Japan, so all of you have something extraordinary to look forward to, since they not were as big as those games like CSGO, that many people play now a days and they even go to different websites to purchase Counter-Strike: Global Offensive skins and other objects for the game. My skills have all but disappeared, but you can be SURE I will be there on day one, and you should be too!
