iPhone 4 Heads To Verizon

In what has to be the most lackluster news of the week for anyone not living in the USA, Verizon and Apple have jointly announced iPhone 4 is coming to Verizon.  The iPhone 4 will be available through Verizon starting on Thursday February 10th.  There’s really nothing else to say at this point except the pricing options, so I’ll let the press release handle that for you.

iPhone 4 will be available on the Verizon Wireless network beginning Thursday, February 10 for a suggested retail price of $199.99 for the 16GB model and $299.99 for the 32GB model with a new two year customer agreement. iPhone 4 will be available at more than 2,000 Verizon Wireless Communications Stores nationwide, online at  www.verizonwireless.com/iphone, at Apple Retail Stores, at the Apple Store® (www.apple.com), at Apple Authorized Resellers, and by calling 1-800-2 JOIN IN.

Wasn’t that fun kids?  For everyone living outside of the US this news is boring as sin as carrier exclusivity has been obsolete since the 3Gs was released.  Anyways, are any of you Verizon folks going to be picking up an iPhone 4 come Feb 10th?

  1. Also the new Verizon iPhone will have the 4.3 os on them. Which means a new os upgrade for all those iPhone and iPad owners!!! Yaaayyy!!! Of course this will bring along new features such as: Personal Hotspot, Airplay for Safari and 3rd party Apps, and Find My Friends.
As for the iPad you will have the choose to use the side switch as a mute button or as portrait orientation lock.
    Enjoy!

    1. Have you seen the recent rumors surrounding the new iPad, it looks pretty sick. Not only will the screen resolution jump to 2048×1536, but the new A8 processor sounds awesome. The iPhone 5 is said to have the same new jump in processor strength which should make 3D games look all that much more impressive.

My 3G is seriously outdated, but at least my iPad still had some life left in her. I’ll keep it for another year, so likely upgrade in 2012 or maybe in 2013 depending.
