The rest of the game, the rest of the trilogy, was bloody awesome and worth paying for. Yeah, maybe Bioware was trying to go in a different direction with the ending, or they ran short on time, whatever the reason, the ending doesn’t completely ruin the series.

I’m embarrassed that I didn’t pick up on any of the cues. Maybe playing until 4am contributed to my poor attention to detail? :)

I admit that I was expecting a Fallout-calibre ending that gives us closure on what happened to our beloved characters, races and their respective conflicts/alliances. Bioware put so much detail into writing everything else, it really seemed like they would be giving us a detailed ending.

Sure it’s polarizing, but people are acting as if it’s the worse thing ever. You have the right to not like it, but just move on. Doing rallies? Signing petitions? Sending 100$ of cupcakes to Bioware just to spit on their face for all the work they’ve done? Fans can be idiots sometimes. I hate this negative backlash because of how fans are handling it. Talk about it. Discuss it. But going as far as pissing on BioWare’s work and demanding a refund? Wow.

I personally go with the indoctrination theory and when you examine it (some people on YouTube are far more dedicated at digging up evidence than I am), it seems incredibly layered. No matter how you see the ending though, I do admit it’s an extremely polarizing one.
