Got the game when it came out but I was still busy with other games before I finally cracked it open. I only then completed it about three days ago and I really enjoyed it. My only gripe is that it takes a bit to get going but once it does it just flows like butter... at least outside of the framerate dips and such. But the story was pretty good, the characters were enjoyable, the combat system turned out better than I expected. (a lot of people compared it to Gears saying things like "this is what a Gears of RPG would be like) The only similarity is that there is a cover system in it but otherwise it's a battle system with its own identity.

Anyway, I really enjoyed it. Would love to see another game that uses this structure, it doesn't necessarily have to be a "The Last Story 2" of course.

I've been meaning to try this one for weeks now, but just haven't been able to pull myself away from my new PC. It sounds excellent and would be a great way to tide me over until the Wii U hits, but I still have tons of indie games to review. Gah! Excellent review Tim :)
