This morning I posted a quick vlog asking the community a question that I have been thinking about for a short time now, whether or not arcade games were indeed the first games to use micro-transactions. After all these games were insanely difficult, and the only way you could continue was to plunk in another quarter. By the time you were done, odds are high you would have spent a hundred bucks. That’s not even including the original high score-chasing games, which you could have spent thousands on. So let me know what your thoughts are on this interesting topic.
