Breaking: Mass Effect 2 Coming To PlayStation 3

Are you a PS3 fanboy?  Do you yearn for an RPG experience unlike any other?  If you never had the opportunity to check out Mass Effect on the Xbox 360, well you should find a way to remedy that right away.  That game won’t be going to the PlayStation 3 anytime soon as it was published by Microsoft.  That changed with Mass Effect 2.  That means that EA and BioWare are bringing all you PS3 fans one of the year’s best RPGs…no scratch that, best games period, to the PS3.  The PS3 version will include all the downloadable content directly on the disc, so you won’t have any need to download anything.  Just put the game in, and enjoy.  It remains to be seen exactly how the transfer data will work from the original game, but I would assume they’ll just remove that and start from scratch.  Who knows, perhaps the PS3 version will have a recap story or something.  We’ll have much more info in the coming weeks and months leading up to its release.  If you’re a PS3 fan, you should be extremely happy right now.

Microsoft Blows The Lid Off Windows Phone 7 – A Phone With Xbox Live Achievements

I think it’s time our very own Steven Lacroix enters the smartphone buying business.  He’s by far the most addicted fan of the achievement system here at COE.  Today Microsoft revealed the line-up of titles it has being prepared for its latest software for smart phones, Windows Phone 7 series.  I already talked a bit about this in my previous phone article, but this time around we have even more information.  I’ve compiled everything together into one nice long press release, thanks to MS.  The information is from Gamescom 2010, which is going on right now in Europe.  Thanks to the time zones, I’m only getting this information now though.  Anyways, what do you all think of being able to add to your Gamerscore via a phone?  Pretty nuts no?

With Xbox LIVE and a Blockbuster Title Lineup, Windows Phone 7 Marks a New Era in Mobile Gaming

First wave of Xbox LIVE titles from award-winning publishers announced for the launch of Windows Phone 7.
