We're literally only an hour and 44 minutes away from the Nintendo press conference as I write this, and yet rumors and news continues to leak out. The German Mass Effect Facebook page has a post up essentially telling fans to not forget to check out the Nintendo E3 press conference this morning. What could this mean?
Want to know how much the Wii U will likely cost? Come on inside for the answer, and a curious rumor about a remodel that could be available at retail outlets everywhere within the next few weeks!
This is one of those stories which just popped at the perfect time. Having just talked with the guys about Microsoft's future plans for integrating Xbox Live into multiple devices, a rumor springs to life that says the company is about to do just that.
Apparently Sony is looking into getting into the cloud-based gaming scene, but they need a little help. Rumors are swirling that Sony will team up with either OnLive or Gaikai to help provide their streaming service. What exactly is Sony looking to provide, and which company is better suited to aid them? Jarrod looks at both options and weighs in.
You read that headline right folks. According to Eurogamer Miyamoto-san will be heading to Los Angeles, as he always does, to publicly reveal a brand new Super Mario Bros. for the Wii U. Just last week we heard that Nintendo of America grabbed the rights to the domain "SuperMario4," and everyone assumed this was going to be for the 3DS considering all the talk about a new 2D Mario heading to that system. During our recent podcast Steven and I discussed this very subject, with both of us saying a Wii U launch title would be much more appropriate for Super Mario Bros. 4. So what's really going on here?
Will Vengeance Bring Redemption? That’s the question Sony posted on their Facebook page this morning. Since they posed the question to their fans, I figured I’d do the same, while also speculating at the same time.
Release dates haven’t been set for the new consoles from Microsoft and Sony, but they’re tentatively scheduled for the end of 2013 or the beginning of 2014. However, rumor has it that the next-gen consoles are being developed using modified versions of graphics cards that can currently be bought [...]
Uh oh. Looks like Nintendo's Wii U may not even be as powerful as the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3. Can you imagine just how underpowered it would be with the next-gen offerings from Microsoft and Sony if this rumor is true?
Jarrod discusses the latest round of PS4 and neXtbox rumors. We can now make some concrete predications that are GOING to happen next-generation. Oh, and start saving now because by holiday 2013 you'll have two more consoles to buy...besides the Wii U.
This is a big one so strap yourself in for the long haul. The boys discuss the latest rumors about the PS4, and finally touch on the Mass Effect 3 ending they’ve failed to discuss earlier. Hope you enjoy.
Joystiq has a really interesting rumor up that seems the most plausible one we’ve heard yet. Apparently Microsoft is looking into releasing an Apple TV-like device that will cater to the light social gamer out there. The newly formed Xbox will do away with an optical medium, instead focusing on [...]
I don’t always report on rumors and speculation because honestly who knows if there’s any truth to what we’re hearing. That said, this is one rumor I just had to pass your way. So here’s the scoop, apparently MCV has heard from reliable sources that Microsoft’s next Xbox, which is gearing up for [...]
Lesson learned; don't listen to PR. Reports are stating that a new 3DS remodel (lite?) will hit shelves in 2012. A second analog stick in the works, too?
